Leadership Coaching

Burnout among leaders is at an all-time high. Is burnout just a part of being a leader?  The answer is a resounding “no”. Burnout does not need to be a part of your leadership journey, and in fact; many successful leaders never experience burnout.  Through burnout-resistance leadership coaching, you learn the secret to leading a burnout-resistant life.  You get personalized skills and the tools needed to prevent burnout in the present and keep burnout at bay in the future.

What to expect in coaching?

  1. Identify the work-related stressors causing you to feel a little or a lot crispy

Assess where you are today. Gain useful insights on the likely work-related causes of your burnout through the Mashlach Individual burnout inventory (MBI), and work-life burnout inventory (AWS). These proven researched based assessments help you determine which areas of your work-life need to be addressed to reduce or eliminate your feelings of burnout. The combined MBI + AWS Toolkit will measure both the extent and likely cause of burnout.

2. Create a plan for getting off the Burnout Treadmill

Knowledge of your work-related burnout causes is only half the battle. With your assessment in hand, we will work together to:

  • Identify the personality traits driving burnout behaviors,

  • Prioritize the work-related factors that are most important to address first

  • Create bite-sized goals to stave off overwhelm while helping you make progress

  • Build a practical, actionable plan to help you create a burnout-resistant life and build lasting burnout-prevention skills.

3. Provide support and accountability to help you stay on track

Change is hard and a plan is only as good as the actions you take.  With that in mind, we will have regularly scheduled coaching calls to:

  • Track your progress toward your goal,

  • Make adjustments to the plan if needed, and

  • Reflect on lessons learned so that you can apply them to other parts of your life.

Our goal is to help you gain burnout prevention skills that last beyond our coaching sessions. So let’s get started.
